Courtney shares her poignant story and unique perspective about what it takes to be mentally healthy and well as a teenager and young adult in our current age of artificial Insta-Perfection, where what you see is not always what you get. Marci believed that her own Krazy past was far behind her, until the torch was unknowingly passed to her daughter Courtney. Even with all of her professional knowledge and experience, navigating the long and painful road out of KrazyLand as a mom was the most difficult and important challenge of her life. Now on the other side of this long and painful journey, Marci and Courtney share everything they have learned in order to help anyone who struggles, whether personally affected or a loved one trying to help. Providing valuable insight and meaningful assistance, with deep understanding and a healthy dose of humor, The KrazyGirls Survival Guide, The KrazyGirl Project and The KrazyGirl Foundation are the culmination of Marci’s life’s work and passion for helping others. Combined with Courtneys desire to help young people who are dealing with the pain of mental health challenges, this guidebook is unique-part memoir, part how to manual, fully engaging and entirely useful.
